Filipinos love to celebrate birthdays, one of the known Filipino culture is that your child’s 7th birthday is considered as an important milestone to be celebrated in a grand way if possible.
Just like when your little girl’s 7th birthday celebration, this day is just as important as her 18th birthday. That is why many families usually go all out when they can when it comes to celebrating their child’s seventh birthday.
Just like the former couple Andi Eigenmann and Jake Ejercito when they throw a grand celebration for their daughter Ellie’s 7th birthday.
Recently, Andi Eigenmann and Jake Ejercito reunited to celebrate their daughter Ellie’s birthday. The celebration was held last Dec. 1, but her actual birthday was on November 23.
Ellie opted to have her gymnastics-themed seventh birthday celebration over the typical princess themed birthday parties, which was her favorite sport. The venue was filled with shiny hoops, pink balloons, silver, and blue. Andi and Jake’s family also came together for the first time ever to celebrate their little princess’ special day.
Ellie wore blue and purple leotards, a silver jacket with “Ellie 7” as she celebrated her seventh year with a marvelous party with her entire family. It can be seen from the video taken by Cocoon Studios, that everyone had a good time.
Jake and Andi wore blue and pink “Team Ellie” jackets and both sides of the family were in attendance, Ellie’s great grandpa, Manila mayor Joseph Estrada from her daddy’s side, while her mom’s relatives, Cherie Gil, Gabby Eigenmann, and Ryan Eigenmann were also present.
On Instagram, Andi shares her thoughts about her daughter Ellie’s seventh birthday. She posted a photo of them together while she was supporting Ellie on her thigh. “In a few hours, I will have a 7 YEAR OLD. (emoji) well, you know what they say: time sure flies by so quickly when you are having fun!lol. I figured since she is old enough for birthday cards, I’ll save the thank you’s and I love you’s for that, but of course, she still deserves an appreciation post,” Andi wrote.
“Every 23rd day of November is an opportunity to celebrate that very moment you came into this beautiful world! Each year, it just becomes more and more meaningful to me,” she added.
On the last part of her post, she made a promise to take care of Ellie and give her the best. “I sure feel so blessed to have my favorite human being to share this super awesome life with! I am excited for what’s in store for this girl! And you are all witness to my promise that I will be there to guide her as she reaches for the stars! [maybe even give her a boost, if needed! Just like in this picture]”
Meanwhile, Jake Ejercito also posted on Instagram with a sweet message for her little girl. “You’re now old enough to tell what’s right from wrong and to have some sense of responsibility. But trust that for as long as I’m around, my baby girl you’ll always be. Happy 7th, my love! Your kulit-ness will forever hold a world record.”
The former couple previously had a controversial issue when Jake filed for joint custody of their daughter. But today, Andi and Jake remain civil to each other and they are now taking turns in spending time with Ellie.
