Following a highly publicized breakup from Erich Gonzales, Daniel Matsunaga has moved on and started a new chapter in his life. The 28-year-old model-actor admitted that he has now found a new love in the person of Polish model Karolina Pisarek.
Standing at 5 feet and 7 and 1/2 inches, 20-year-old Karolina is based in the United States and is a celebrity in her home country after joining the fifth cycle of ‘Top Model’ Poland edition in 2015 where she finished first runner-up. Currently, she has over 500,000 followers on Instagram.
When asked where they met, Daniel was quick to share that he first met the Polish model when she came to the country for an advertisement. And when asked what he likes the most about Pisarek, he shared: “Lahat, ‘yung beauty, ‘yung inside person niya.”
The former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) winner said that his current girlfriend knows about his previous relationships specifically the girls he dated.
“She’s aware naman. She knows naman, not everything, pero for me, I don’t like talking about the past. You live in the present. You live for what you have in the moment and your future. And you pray to God to be in the front of the relationship,” he said.
Matsunaga also said that he doesn’t mind having a long-distance relationship, suggesting that Pisarek will not be moving to the Philippines anytime soon. “If you love someone, that doesn’t stop me,” he claimed.
Daniel and actress Erich Gonzales separated early this 2017. It was back in May when the model first said that he has already moved on from their high-profile breakup. Daniel said he and and the actress are now civil with each other and he will also be happy for his ex-girlfriend if ever she finally decides to date again.
“I am really happy for her. From the bottom of my heart, I just want the best for her,” he said.
