Check Out Jennylyn Mercado’s Modern Two-Storey House In Quezon City

Kapuso actress Jennylyn Mercado became famous after winning in the first season of StarStruck in 2003, a reality-based talent search show of GMA Network.



She is also a singer and songwriter and was considered as one of the most successful actresses in the Philippines showbiz industry. Recently, the actress was chosen as the first Filipina brand ambassador of the International cosmetic brand Max Factor.

The actress began her house hunting in 2014, with the help of her manager, Becky Aguila. Fortunately, they found this house and lot somewhere in Quezon City.

According to her: “Sabi ko, okey, perfect siya. Kasi gusto ko lang naman ng medyo malaki. ‘Tapos, ‘yong kuwarto, importante sa akin ‘yong kuwarto na malaki, kasi marami akong gamit.”

“Ayun, no’ng nakita ko ‘yong master bedroom, okay na ako dito.”

This spacious, airy home located in a subdivision in Quezon City is perfect for Jennylyn and her family. The actress worked with contractors and an interior designer to transform it into a modern haven.

“Kung dream house ko kasi, gusto ko may lap pool na mahaba, kahit thirty meters, ganyan.”

“Para nakakapag-training na rin ako sa loob ng bahay. Hindi na ako lalabas pa.”

According to Jennylyn, her career went high and receives never-ending projects after moving into their new house with her son Alex Jazz and her mother Lydia Mercado.

“Simula no’ng lumipat ako dito, parang nararamdaman ko ang swerte.”

“Hindi ako nawawalan ng trabaho.”

“Ikaw kasi ‘yong ando’n, e. Parang ‘yon yo’ng character mo, di ba? Yan ang gusto mong ipakita pag may bisita ka.”

This guest room located on the first floor can also function as an entertainment room where Jennylyn and her guests can watch TV. It also has its own bathroom and furnished with a sectional sofa and a slim console that holds the TV.

Jennylyn’s private space measures about 60sqm, the actress revealed that she wanted her master bedroom to have masculine touches and takes her inspiration from New York and London apartments. Her bed is the only furniture was not custom-made because it came from her previous home.



“Gusto ko madilim, kasi mabilis akong magising, e, pag me araw.”

“Tapos gusto ko parang London apartment, gano’n. Tapos ayoko ng parang pambabae. Gusto ko parang may pagka-masculine.”
