Friends are supposed to help each other out. We even run an errand for a friend when necessary. But how do you know that a so-called friend is already crossing the boundaries?
We meet toxic people in all walks of life – in romantic relationships, at work, and even in friendships. Sometimes, it can be difficult to pick up on that fact. One Facebook post which has gone viral recently shows us one of the red flags in a friendship. If you have a friend like the one involved in the said post, we encourage you to think twice about them and try to determine whether they really are a friend.
The annoyed netizen could not help but brought her conversation between a “friend” upon a Facebook post. Obviously, she’s had enough of her antics to the point of even using her own child to milk money from others.
A Facebook user who goes by the name Celine Rosales divulged the shameless ways of a certain friend who seems fond of deceiving somebody else.
Her post, accompanied by screenshots of their actual conversation, shows her “kumare” who first tried to make herself appear pitiful by involving her child since Celine is one of the kid’s godparents.
The woman asked if Celine could lend her P1,000 to buy her child some diapers. Unfortunately, the godmother of the child could not spare her cash at the time since she was allotting her money for something else.
Celine also reminded the woman of her unpaid debt amounting to P1,500 in which her friend responded to forget about and consider as a Christmas gift to her godchild.
Celine refused to give in to her friend’s request to which the woman snapped and rubbed in to Celine’s face all her shortcomings as a godparent.
She even shamelessly brought up the occasions Celine allegedly missed and belittled the monetary amount she gave during the child’s baptism which she considered useless.
All the insults she got from the woman got to Celine’s nerves and replied that she knew about the lie she made up just so she could borrow money one time, using her child as an excuse.
With all that is said and done, it is clear that the friendship between the two can never be the same again.
Celine decided to upload the conversation on Facebook so her “ex-friend” might learn a thing or two. With that being said, countless of netizens expressed their disgust towards the shameless friend who values money over friendship.
