Who would ever forget about Lumen who became the embodiment of every typical Filipina mother in the popular Surf commercials? Her adventures on saving up while washing our clothes started back in the late ’90s to the early 2000s.
Helmed by being a “wais na misis,” the TV ad from the popular brand of laundry detergent showed us the ideal Filipino family. Despite its simple concept, audiences got hooked with the commercial series, following Lumen’s journey with her faithful husband “Lando” and their lovely twin daughters “Maria” and “Ana.”
Some might even be surprised how fast time passed by. Lumen’s twins, played by Charlotte Andrea and Charice Andrea Hermoso, are now grown-ups and have blossomed into two beautiful young ladies.
A few might not know it, but the Hermoso twins were cast as the young Sunshine Dizon and Iza Calzado in the Kapuso primetime drama “Impostora” back in 2007. After some time, the two have decided to shy away from the limelight. Reportedly, the twins are currently studying at the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA in Las Piñas.
Charlotte is said to be the simple dresser between the two, donning a low-maintenance, relaxed, and laid-back style. However, her simple sense of fashion turns the focus on her natural and lovely physical traits. Noticeably, she likes to take selfies in the car.
On the other hand, Charice takes on the bolder way of fashion. Her choice of clothing speaks highly of it as well as of her personality. In fact, some reports even pointed out that she has the guts to become a model someday.
Both the twins love to share their photos on their respective Instagram accounts and netizens are becoming more and more drawn to how good-looking they turned out to be, and we just couldn’t agree more.
