Mom Found His Son Kneeling Down at the Front of Walmart and was Brought to Tears Upon Realizing Why

Some say it’s never too early for children to start praying so that prayer becomes a natural part of their daily lives. It’s a precious moment when a parent sees his/her children talking to God about their day or sharing stories.
This is exactly what the mom of a certain boy must’ve felt when he found him lost in prayer outside of their home. The heart-melting photo of the little boy has been making rounds on Facebook and garnered a huge amount of attention from people with all kinds of religious beliefs. The image, which was snapped inside a Walmart store, was posted by the boy’s mother herself.
During shopping, the boy had wandered away from his mom at one point. She wanted to scold him for disappearing without prior notice, but when she came across him a few minutes later, she was stunned by what he had been up to.
“I had to run into Walmart. I turned around to make sure my son was next to me,” said the mother.
When she finally found her son, he was kneeling down next to a bench against the wall at the front of the store, with his hands clasped in front of him and his eyes shut tight. Initially, the mom found herself utterly confused at the scenario. Then she noticed it seemed as though he was praying, but still, she had no idea why.
“Instead of finding him by my side I found him kneeling in front of the missing children board praying.”
When the confused mother looked above the boy’s head at the board hanging on the wall, with a poster saying: “Every second count,” that’s when it struck her.
The poster on the bulletin board contained the pictures and information about missing children who were from families in the area. Apparently, her son was kneeling before them, praying to God for the safe return of the children.
According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, around 800,000 children are reported missing in the United States every single year.
The simple yet immensely powerful photo went viral and netizens with missing loved ones across the country instantly connected with the emotional moment captured in time. A Facebook page called Bring Aubrey Home even recognized a child in one of the photos as Aubrey Jayce Carroll, a teenage boy from George who went missing in 2016.
Undoubtedly, the beautifully captured moment has made us realized that no matter what God we believe in, we must all strive to have the same kindness and compassion the little boy has shown us.
